Agfa PE36 Reel-to-Reel Tape — 10½” Reel, Opened/Used

This is a single reel of Agfa PE36 ¼” recording tape, supplied on a 10½” (26.5cm) reel in its original box. The reel has been opened and used. The PE36 was introduced by Agfa-Gevaert in 1969 as their Type 2, low-noise formulation, and is well regarded among tape collectors and enthusiasts today for its smooth finish, good frequency response, and long-term stability, with none of the sticky-shed or lubricant breakdown issues that affect some tapes of a similar vintage. The box confirms 1,280m (4,200ft) of tape, giving a substantial recording time at typical reel-to-reel speeds.
