Cyrus One Integrated Amplifier

The Original Compact Cyrus Amplifier

Introduced in 1984, the Cyrus One helped establish the compact format that became a hallmark of the brand. Its straightforward analogue design combines a preamplifier and stereo power amplifier in one narrow chassis, making it a practical centrepiece for a traditional vinyl and CD system.

• 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms: rising to a published 40 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with both channels driven.
• Built-in phono stage: a dedicated turntable input alongside line-level connections for sources such as a CD player or tuner.
• Separate listen and record selectors: choose the source sent to a recorder independently of the one playing through the speakers.
• Simple operation: direct rotary controls keep everyday source selection and volume adjustment straightforward.
• Compact proportions: a 215mm-wide case suits installations where a full-width amplifier would take up too much space.

Workshop Work and Cosmetic Condition

This amplifier has been recapped by Wilkinson’s and checked by Andrew. It is graded A3. There are scratches and marks on the case, wear to the controls and visible cracks along the front edge of the top cover. Please inspect all three photographs for a clear view of its cosmetic condition.

The speaker connections use individual 4mm banana plugs. Allow ventilation around the case when positioning it in a system.
