Pro-Ject E1 Turntable
The E1 provides the vinyl source at the heart of the system. Pro-Ject uses a belt-drive system with electronic selection between 33 and 45rpm, removing the need to reposition the belt when changing record speeds.
Its 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm is factory set up, while the supplied Audio-Technica AT3600 cartridge means the turntable arrives ready for use with minimal adjustment.
The plinth is designed without large hollow spaces to help control unwanted resonance, while the main platter uses an anti-resonant ABS polymer construction.
A removable dust cover is also included.
Stereo Box E Integrated Amplifier
Despite its compact dimensions, the Stereo Box E provides the connectivity expected from a much larger integrated amplifier.
It delivers 21 watts per channel into 8Ω and 40 watts per channel into 4Ω, making it a suitable match for the supplied Speaker Box 5 E loudspeakers.
The built-in moving-magnet phono stage connects directly to the E1 turntable, while additional inputs allow the system to grow over time.

Speaker Box 5 E Loudspeakers
The supplied Speaker Box 5 E speakers use a traditional two-way, rear-ported bass-reflex design.
Each cabinet combines a 5-inch fibreglass bass/mid driver with a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, housed in a non-resonant MDF enclosure.
With a nominal impedance of 4Ω and 86dB sensitivity, they are well suited to the Stereo Box E amplifier and provide a genuine stereo soundstage rather than the restricted presentation of a single-box wireless speaker.
Magnetic grilles are included for a clean appearance.
More Than Just a Vinyl System
Although vinyl playback is central to the Stereo Set E1, the system is deliberately easy to expand.
Bluetooth allows music to be played wirelessly from a phone or tablet, while the optical and coaxial digital inputs can accommodate equipment such as:

- CD transports
- Network streamers
- Games consoles
- Other digital sources
A dedicated subwoofer output also makes it straightforward to add an active subwoofer later if more low-frequency extension is required.
