Key improvements over previous entry-level Rega models include a low-noise 24V synchronous motor for improved speed stability and reduced vibration, and the RB110 tonearm, featuring Rega’s bespoke ultra-low friction bearings and automatic bias adjustment, making it truly “plug and play.” The Planar 1 also comes fitted with the Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge as standard, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable sound right out of the box.
