Revox 10″ Metal Tape Reel with Tape – Boxed
This is a genuine Revox 10.5″ reel-to-reel tape reel, finished in Revox’s silver anodised aluminium and branded with the Revox name on the hub, supplied in its original box. Revox reels of this type were the standard take-up and supply reels used with Revox’s own A77, B77, and PR99 series recorders, and are still sought after today both for use and as a well-made accessory for other ¼” reel-to-reel machines. This example is complete with tape wound on. Revox sold tape stock under their own name as an accessory to their recorder range, though it was manufactured for them by third-party tape coaters rather than produced in-house; whether this particular tape is genuine Revox-branded stock or a third-party tape simply wound onto a Revox reel cannot be confirmed from the reel or box alone, and its recorded status (blank, part-used, or fully recorded) is also unknown without playback.
