The M75B is built to Shure’s usual high manufacturing standards of the period, using a moving-magnet design compatible with any standard MM phono input. The conical diamond stylus, while less able to trace the finest high-frequency groove modulations than an elliptical tip, offers excellent longevity and a smooth, warm, and non-fatiguing sonic character that made the M75 family a favourite in both domestic hi-fi and radio broadcast use throughout its production run. As with other M75 variants, the cartridge is compatible with standard half-inch mounting centres, making it straightforward to fit to the great majority of tonearms.

Important Owner’s Notes
As with all vintage cartridges, stylus wear should be checked periodically, and tracking force set correctly for the tonearm in use to protect both stylus and records; the cartridge has been checked and is tracking correctly at the time of testing.
