Description

Please Note: Supplied Without Remote Control

This unit is supplied without its original remote handset. As this player was designed to be operated via a Sony system remote control, it can be paired with a compatible Sony amplifier or receiver remote if required.

Key Features

At the heart of the CDP-XE270 is Sony’s High Density Linear Converter (a 1-bit D/A conversion system) paired with an 8x oversampling digital filter, aiming for smooth, accurate waveform reconstruction. Disc reading is handled by a Sony KSS-213C optical pickup working alongside a CXD2587Q digital converter chip, and the player reliably handles CD-R and CD-RW discs alongside standard pressed CDs. A jog dial provides quick, tactile track selection and navigation, while shuffle and repeat play modes, along with 24-step programming and a 20-track music calendar display, round out a genuinely flexible feature set. Both fixed analogue RCA and optical digital outputs are provided for connection to an amplifier, receiver, or outboard DAC.
