Description

Vintage Technics with Everyday Convenience

The SL-23 suits listeners who enjoy placing the stylus themselves but appreciate an arm that returns and switches off at the end of a record. A damped cueing lever assists with lowering the arm.

Servo-Controlled Belt Drive

A frequency-generator servo regulates the DC motor. Electronic selection switches between LP and single speeds, while separate pitch controls and an illuminated strobe allow fine adjustment. The die-cast aluminium platter is driven by a belt.

An Adjustable S-Shaped Tonearm

The arm provides adjustable tracking force and anti-skating, plus a detachable headshell. This allows cartridge changes without replacing the complete arm; correct alignment and settings remain important for record care.

Important Owner’s Notes

Your system needs a phono input or a separate phono preamplifier appropriate to the fitted cartridge. A standard AUX input alone does not provide the required amplification and equalisation. If you are unsure which connections to use, we can help you check your amplifier before purchase.

Place the deck on a level, stable surface away from loudspeaker vibration. Tracking force should follow the cartridge maker’s recommendation. Cartridge and stylus details are not specified in this listing; please contact us if you need those confirmed for system matching.
