Hi-Fi is such a wide ranging and complex field that it’s not unusual to need some help.

Just bear in mind though that our 2 line phone essentially rings all day long- so you may need to leave a message or be patient so that the right person can geive you the correct answer to your questions.

Here’s some General Advice on buying Hi-Fi

We are always happy to give guidance on what you need to think about when buying new kit…   and hope you find our advice interesting.

You may be looking to go a bit better than you’ve had before… or maybe downsizing.

Most can hear the difference between one system and another, so it will be you that will decide on whether that extra £££ is worth spending.

Depending on budget you can do this all at once, or upgrade a piece at a time.. like many do.

Unless you’ve a dud source or amp, we’d recommend starting with the speakers. These will make the biggest difference for your £££.  And they are usually the most visible. 

Then depending on where you play music from…. CD, vinyl, radio, streamer… you look at upgrading the item you will use most.

While we can always find a system to suit your budget…just remember that spending a little bit more will make a BIG difference in sound, so we’d say it’s worth stretching a little.

If it sounds better, you enjoy it more.. & listen to it longer and more often.

Choosing between 2 items..? Go for the better one…  you’ll regret it later if not.

BASIC  systems..  Hi-fi shops aren’t always expensive.  We have systems from £100

BETTER…. So you’ve had some hifi before and now want something better..? We have lots of choice.

BEST…  You appreciate what music evokes and love that richer sound

Most people only ever have 4 hifi systems. 1.A hand-me down. 2 Your 1st basic one. 3  Something decent, then 4. The final one
